GambleAware, a large organization dedicated to helping people with gambling addiction and implementing measures to mitigate the damaging effects of gambling, recently released a new five-year plan to raise player awareness of the potential dangers of gambling. With new laws enacted to regulate the industry as a whole, GambleAware will receive additional funding to advance its new organizational strategy, which is to work with government agencies, health authorities and various local organizations to use different approaches to address the harm from gambling. GambleAware has already launched several research and training programs to gain and share valuable experiences.

As part of the five-year initiative, 4 key objectives were voiced:
- Launch of training programs and general awareness raising about the possible dangers of gambling.
- Improving the quality of services provided by public health organizations.
- Facilitate access to support services and assistance in combating gambling addiction.
- Improving the overall performance of the National Gambling Treatment Service.
According to the CEO of GambleAware, all gambling organizations must act in a coordinated and collaborative manner to maximize their impact in combating the negative impact of gambling on the community. Thanks to the increased funding, GambleAware will be able to develop and implement programs with the ultimate goal of significantly reducing the number of people suffering from gambling addiction to one degree or another. Ultimately, GambleAware is committed to not only making significant headway in realizing its visions over the next five years, but also to continue to work effectively with the NFL and other organizations in the long term.
